The logistics research competition was first organized on 1997 by a jointly efforts of Logistics Management Sub- Club and our sponsor Keppel Logistics Pte Ltd. Subsequently, the second LRC was held last year with our another sponsors Singapore Airlines Cargo. Both were a success that has provided our sponsors the valuable suggestions and solutions to improve their operations. LRC also give a chance to our sponsors to look for the best valuable human resources.

 At the same time, our participants gain the useful experience by working in the real logistics world.  Our participants were also giving a chance to practice the logistics knowledge they learned onto solve the real business problems or perfect the present operation system. Besides that, they also earned themselves opportunities to work with in the leaders logistics companies.

 Through out the years, LRC has got tremendous supports from our dean’s office. Our Dean of faculty of Business Administration, Professor Hum Sin Hoon was one of our judges last year. His presence to our oral presentation cum award giving ceremony had definitely added more splendor to our event. Our sponsors Keppel Logistics Pte Ltd and Singapore Airlines Cargo also have rendered us financial supports as well giving a chance for our participants to improve themselves. We would like to thank our judges who has sacrifice their valuable time to mark the research reports as well as attend the verbal presentation cum award giving ceremony.  Of course not forgetting our participants who have put in a lot of efforts to make LRC a success.

 The next Logistics Research Competition will be coming soon. There will be new exciting changes to the new LRC. Watch out for it!
